In the early days of playing pubs and clubs, the band decided to do a mini floorshow of 50s Rock 'n' Roll under the name of Ian and the Imperials. This was hugely successful as the band would dress up in 50s clothing and looked as if they had stepped straight out of the set of Grease. Not long after, they added another band to this list called Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds. A band of 60s freaks right down to the resident hippy. This bracket of songs were all 60s songs from Liverpool to San Francisco.

A few years later the band, wishing to sound anonymous, occasionally used the name Take No Prisoners and later again Flamingo Road.

IAN & THE IMPERIALS

This bunch of bodgies and louts were what the 50s were all about as they played their classic Rock 'n' Roll.

LUCY SKY AND THE DIAMONDS

Or was that 'Loosey'

There were the 'Mods' and there were 'Hippies' and this outfit weren't exactly sure who they were, but they definitely had that 60s sound.
